Durga Puja Theme: One of the leaders of Theme Puja in Kolkata, the Bosepukur Sitala Mandir Durga Puja committee's theme for the year 2008 was AASRAYA or the shelter. There was a tree in the middle on the mandap with real leaves and sound of birds, with a statue of a man rest underneath it. The decorations were done with small pieces of tree branches. The terracotta theme Devi Durga Pratima was adding to the already heavenly ambience.
