Durga Puja Theme: Kolabou Snan is a ritual that is done on Saptami morning. The priest along with the Dhaki and few organisers carry Kolabou which is a half grown banana tree which is worshiped as a bride. Some of the Kolabous are carried and taken back in vehicles among lot of fanfare. Most of Mandaps which are near the water bodies the Kolabous are carried on foot.
